Strong commercial momentum for BRINSUPRI and continued growth from ARIKAYCE prompted Insmed to raise its 2026 outlook and increase peak revenue expectations for its lead programmes.
Insmed (NASDAQ:INSM) reported total second-quarter 2026 revenue of $425.5 million, driven by continued commercial strength from BRINSUPRI, which generated $309.2 million in sales during the quarter. The product’s revenue increased 49% sequentially, reflecting continued adoption following its launch in the United States.
ARIKAYCE contributed $116.3 million in quarterly revenue, representing 8% year-over-year growth, supported primarily by international markets.
Following the strong commercial performance, Insmed raised its 2026 BRINSUPRI revenue guidance to a range of $1.25 billion to $1.40 billion while reaffirming its ARIKAYCE revenue outlook of $450 million to $470 million.
The company also increased its long-term outlook for its lead commercial and late-stage programmes, now projecting combined peak annual revenue of more than $14 billion, consisting of more than $7 billion for BRINSUPRI, more than $6 billion for TPIP and more than $1 billion for ARIKAYCE.
The higher BRINSUPRI guidance suggests the launch is outperforming previous expectations and reinforces the product’s position as Insmed’s primary growth driver. Raising long-term peak revenue estimates also reflects management’s growing confidence in both the commercial opportunity for BRINSUPRI and the development potential of TPIP.
Beyond commercial execution, the company continues advancing several important catalysts. Regulatory decisions for BRINSUPRI in Japan, potential label expansion for ARIKAYCE and four Phase 3 TPIP programmes could broaden Insmed’s addressable markets over the coming years if development progresses successfully.
Maintaining growth from ARIKAYCE while rapidly scaling BRINSUPRI also demonstrates increasing diversification within the company’s respiratory portfolio.
