Shares of Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) were last seen up 0.4% at $494.34, with the Big Tech behemoth now sporting a 32% gain for the current quarter. The shares gapped 15.5% higher on July 30, back above the 200-day moving average after the company posted a cloud growth that beat estimates. Net income rose 31% from the previous quarter as well, adding to the impressive report.
Per Schaeffer's Quantitative Analyst Rocky White's list of stocks sporting the most active options over the past two weeks, MSFT saw more than 5.8 million calls and 2.9 million puts exchanged during this time frame. The most activity was seen at the August 500 call, where selling activity was detected.
These options are affordably priced as well. Specifically, Microsoft stock's Schaeffer’s Volatility Index (SVI) of 26% stands in the 29th percentile of its annual range.
