Comcast Reaches Construction Milestone in Latest Jackson County Expansion, Bringing Xfinity and Comcast Business Services to More Michigan Residents and Businesses

Project More than 50% Complete, With Concord, Horton, Leslie, Onondaga, and Rives Junction Nearing Full Buildout

LANSING, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comcast today announced a significant construction milestone in its most recent network expansion across Jackson County, with the overall project now more than halfway complete as the company works to bring its reliable, high-speed Internet network to more than 7,400 additional homes and businesses for the first time.

Momentum across Jackson County remains strong with construction in Concord, Horton, Leslie, Onondaga, and Rives Junction nearing completion. Construction efforts are underway in Hanover, Jackson, Munith, Parma, and Pleasant Lake. As construction progresses, more residents and businesses are gaining access to Internet, mobile, entertainment and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business, enhancing digital infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and positioning residents and local businesses for success in an increasingly digital world.

Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses to check for current service availability or construction timing. They can also stop by the Xfinity Store in Jackson, located at 1509 Boardman Road, to learn more about products and services. New addresses will continue to become serviceable on a rolling basis with the full project expected to be completed by the spring of 2027.

This network expansion is part of Comcast’s latest investment in Michigan. In the last year alone, Comcast has connected an additional 32,000 homes and businesses in Michigan to Xfinity and Comcast Business services.
