BlossomHill Therapeutics (NASDAQ:BLSM) shares rose 4.4% in premarket trading after the company presented updated clinical data for investigational drug BH-30643 at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, South Korea.
The data came from the Phase 1/2 SOLARA trial evaluating BH-30643 in patients with EGFR C797S-positive non-small cell lung cancer, or NSCLC.
Among 40 patients included in the update, the trial reported an objective response rate of 45% and a disease control rate of 88%. At a median follow-up of nearly seven months, 63% of patients remained on treatment.
According to the supplied information, there are currently no approved oral targeted therapies specifically for patients with EGFR C797S-positive NSCLC.
BH-30643 Holds FDA Fast Track Designation
BH-30643 has received Fast Track designation from the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of EGFR C797S-positive NSCLC.
Fast Track designation is intended to facilitate the development and review of treatments addressing serious conditions and unmet medical needs, but does not constitute approval of the investigational therapy.
The SOLARA study remains a Phase 1/2 clinical trial, and further clinical development will be required to assess the drug’s safety and efficacy.

Guggenheim initiated coverage of BlossomHill on September 1 with a Buy rating and a $30 price target, according to the supplied information.
