Stock futures are sharply higher to start the week, as falling oil prices and Treasury yields give Wall Street a boost. The 10-year note is back below 5%, last seen at 4.957%, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent crude are both down roughly 3%, even as U.S.-Iran tensions remain elevated.
Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) are up more than 400 and 300 points, respectively, while S&P 500 Index (SPX) futures are firmly higher as well. Elsewhere, Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at its highest level since January.

Asian markets finished comfortably higher today, as investors look toward this week’s summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, where AI and tariffs will be discussed. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 1.2%, China’s Shanghai Composite rose 1%, and South Korea’s Kospi paced the region with a 1.7% pop. Japanese markets were closed for holiday.
European stocks are looking to log an upbeat session as well, boosted by oil prices retreating and U.S.-Iran deal buzz. The tech and finance sectors are also giving sentiment a lift. At last glance, London’s FTSE 100 and Germany’s DAX are up 1.1%, while France’s CAC 40 sports a 1% gain.
