Meta Unveils Muse Charm Handheld Device and Expands AI Agent Features

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) unveiled a handheld device designed specifically for its Muse artificial intelligence agent, alongside new smart glasses and additional features for the AI platform at its Meta Connect 2026 event.

Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg introduced the products during the opening keynote at the event in Menlo Park, California.

The new handheld device, called Muse Charm, has a small display and 5G connectivity and is designed to allow users to interact with Muse without using a smartphone. Meta said the device is expected to become available for purchase by December.

The company also introduced camera-less smart glasses and virtual reality glasses as part of its latest hardware announcements.

Meta Expands Muse Personalisation and Smart Glasses Integration

Meta announced additional personalisation features for Muse, allowing users to modify the appearance and voice of their AI agent.

Zuckerberg also said Muse will be integrated with Meta’s AI-enabled smart glasses.

“In the coming years, I expect that Muse is going to grow into the personal superintelligence that billions of people are going to use,” Zuckerberg said.
