Perimeter Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:PRM) has announced plans to change its corporate name to Perimeter Group Inc. and relocate its headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina, effective 4 November 2026.
The company said the rebranding reflects the development of its operations into six businesses across two reporting segments, Fire Safety and Specialty Products.
Despite the corporate name change, the company’s shares will continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the existing ticker symbol PRM.
The restructuring of its corporate identity will also include changes to certain operating business names, while established product brands will remain unchanged.
Perimeter Solutions said the new Perimeter Group name is intended to represent the wider range of businesses now operating within the organisation.
The company currently comprises six businesses divided between its Fire Safety and Specialty Products reporting segments.
The Fire Safety segment includes operations supplying wildfire retardants, firefighting foams, fire detection equipment and emergency management systems.
The Specialty Products segment encompasses businesses involved in phosphorus derivatives, medical manufacturing technologies and intelligent manufacturing solutions.
Chief Executive Officer Haitham Khouri explained the rationale behind the corporate identity change.
“Perimeter has grown to six businesses, and the Perimeter Group name better represents the company as a whole,” Khouri said.
The announcement indicates that the rebranding is intended to align the parent company’s identity with its diversified operating structure.
Under the new corporate structure, the Fire Safety segment will continue to comprise three businesses.
Perimeter Solutions will remain the name of the company’s wildfire retardant operations, which supply products and air base services used in wildfire management.
Solberg Fire will serve as the brand for the company’s fire suppressant business, providing firefighting foams and related equipment.
Monaco Enterprises will continue operating in fire detection and emergency management systems.
The businesses serve different areas of the fire safety market, ranging from wildfire response to fire suppression technology and emergency monitoring infrastructure.
The company confirmed that its established PHOS-CHEK and Auxquimia product brands will remain unchanged.
Retaining these brands allows the company to introduce a new corporate identity without changing the names of certain existing products.
Perimeter Group’s Specialty Products segment will include Phosphorus Derivatives Inc., Medical Manufacturing Technologies and Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions.
Phosphorus Derivatives Inc. operates within the company’s specialty chemicals activities.
Medical Manufacturing Technologies focuses on technologies used in medical manufacturing applications.
Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions represents the group’s manufacturing technology operations.
Together, the three businesses form the company’s Specialty Products reporting segment.
The corporate name change is intended to reflect the presence of these operations alongside the group’s established fire safety activities.
Perimeter did not announce changes to the segment’s reporting structure or provide revised financial guidance in connection with the rebranding.
Alongside the name change, Perimeter Solutions confirmed that it will move its corporate headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina.
The relocation will take effect on 4 November 2026, the same date as the transition to the Perimeter Group name.
The company did not disclose the financial costs associated with the relocation or specify whether the move would affect existing employment levels.
It also did not announce changes to the locations of its individual operating businesses.
The company’s NYSE listing will remain under the ticker PRM, meaning the corporate name change will not involve a change to its trading symbol.
Chief Financial Officer Kyle Sable pointed to continued investment across the group’s businesses as part of the company’s operational development.
These investments include the establishment of new retardant bases, expansion of fire suppressant production capacity and product launches at Medical Manufacturing Technologies.
The additional retardant bases support the company’s wildfire response operations, while expanded suppressant production increases its manufacturing capabilities in firefighting products.
New product introductions at Medical Manufacturing Technologies represent investment within the Specialty Products segment.
The company did not provide specific capital expenditure figures or revenue projections associated with these initiatives.
The investment activity illustrates the range of operations covered by the new Perimeter Group identity.
The planned transition to Perimeter Group Inc. represents a change to the company’s corporate identity rather than an announced change to its stock market listing or financial reporting segments.
From 4 November, the parent company will operate under the Perimeter Group name, with its headquarters based in Charlotte.
The wildfire retardant business will retain the Perimeter Solutions name, while the suppressant business will operate as Solberg Fire.
PHOS-CHEK and Auxquimia will continue as existing product brands.
For investors, the announcement provides an update on the company’s organisational structure and corporate positioning, with no changes disclosed to its financial outlook.
The company’s future operating performance will continue to depend on developments across its Fire Safety and Specialty Products businesses, including the investments and expansion initiatives outlined by management.
