Four-week average change from trend shows significant sales improvement from supplemental merchandising program
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#merchandising--ReposiTrak, Inc. (NYSE: TRAK), the leader in retail supply chain, merchandising, compliance and traceability solutions, today announced that a large national dairy using Touchless Retail™ at a large American retailer with a national footprint has achieved a 17% sales lift, measured as the four-week average change from trend.
The program supplements the dairy supplier’s existing merchandising organization, adding coverage in stores and during time periods where additional execution can have the greatest impact.

The latest results show that sales are running 17% above trend on a four-week average basis, demonstrating the opportunity available when suppliers can increase merchandising frequency and improve shelf execution without substantially increasing merchandising costs.
“These results are exactly what Touchless Retail was built to deliver,” said Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak. “This large national dairy already has its own merchandising organization. We are extending that coverage where it is needed most, using the very best merchandisers at a much lower cost, and the sales results are showing the impact.”
Touchless Retail provides suppliers with supplemental or complete in-store merchandising using an elite merchandising workforce. Merchandising is performed only by top-performing professionals who maintain a 99%+ show-up/on-time rate and less than a 0.5% rework/revisit rate.
That execution is delivered at a much lower cost than traditional merchandising models, allowing suppliers such as this large national dairy to economically add coverage during weekends, high-demand periods or other times when their existing teams may not have sufficient resources.
ReposiTrak combines that merchandising execution with store-level sales, inventory and demand intelligence to identify where additional attention can generate the greatest opportunity.
The 17% sales lift follows earlier results from the same large American retailer. During a recent severe storm, Friday sales increased sharply as shoppers stocked up ahead of the weather event. Despite weekend sales being expected to decline following the pre-storm surge, weekend sales increased 6%, highlighting the potential value of maintaining strong shelf execution even during unusual demand conditions.
The latest four-week results provide a broader measure of performance beyond a single weekend, showing sustained improvement relative to the underlying sales trend.
“The economics change when better merchandising produces incremental sales while the cost of delivering that merchandising comes down,” Fields said. “That is the opportunity we see with Touchless Retail.”
Touchless Retail combines ReposiTrak’s DSD technology, perpetual inventory capabilities, demand-driven ordering, out-of-stock visibility and store-level analytics with elite merchandising execution. Suppliers can use the solution as a complete merchandising program or as a flexible extension of an existing field organization.
For suppliers, the proposition is straightforward: more effective shelf execution, measurable incremental sales and much lower merchandising cost.
