Constellium Shares Rise 4.4% as Q3 Earnings Beat Forecasts and 2026 Guidance Increases

By Fiona Craig | October 28, 2026, 10:07 AM

Constellium SE (NYSE:CSTM) shares advanced 4.4% in pre-market trading on Wednesday after the aluminium products manufacturer reported third-quarter 2026 earnings and revenue above analyst expectations and raised its full-year financial guidance.

The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.84, exceeding the consensus estimate of $0.63. Revenue increased 22% year over year to $2.6 billion, compared with $2.2 billion in the corresponding period of 2025 and above analysts’ expectations of $2.2 billion.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $276 million, including a negative non-cash metal price lag impact of $4 million.

Packaging and Automotive Segment Drives Earnings Growth

Constellium reported improved profitability across its operating segments, supported by pricing, product mix and metal costs.

The Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products (P&ARP) segment generated adjusted EBITDA of $162 million, representing a 98% increase from $82 million in the previous year.

The improvement reflected favourable pricing and product mix, alongside lower metal-related costs.

The Aerospace & Transportation (A&T) segment reported adjusted EBITDA of $102 million, up 13% year over year, supported by higher shipment volumes and favourable pricing.

Chief Executive Officer Ingrid Joerg highlighted the company’s performance despite continued economic uncertainty.

“Constellium delivered another strong quarter, including record third quarter adjusted EBITDA, despite the ongoing uncertainties on the macroeconomic and geopolitical fronts,” Joerg said. “We achieved strong financial performance across all of our operating segments again this quarter, including record third quarter segment adjusted EBITDA at both our A&T and P&ARP segments.”

Constellium Raises Full-Year 2026 Guidance

Following the third-quarter results, Constellium increased its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to between $1.03 billion and $1.06 billion, excluding the non-cash impact of metal price lag.

The revised range represents a midpoint of $1.045 billion and reflects the company’s updated expectations for the remainder of 2026.

Constellium also expects full-year free cash flow to exceed $300 million.

The revised outlook follows stronger profitability in its Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products and Aerospace & Transportation businesses.

Free Cash Flow Reaches $128 Million

Constellium generated $128 million in free cash flow during the third quarter, supported by its operating performance.

The company returned $30 million to shareholders through share repurchases during the period.

Quarter-end leverage stood at 1.6 times, close to the lower end of Constellium’s target range of 1.5 to 2.5 times.

The leverage position provides context for the company’s financial flexibility as it continues to manage capital expenditure, shareholder returns and its balance sheet.

Constellium Outlook

Constellium’s third-quarter results exceeded analyst forecasts, with revenue increasing 22% to $2.6 billion and adjusted earnings per share reaching $0.84.

The Packaging & Automotive Rolled Products segment nearly doubled its adjusted EBITDA, while Aerospace & Transportation also recorded higher profitability.

The company raised its full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook to $1.03 billion–$1.06 billion and expects free cash flow above $300 million.

Shares gained 4.4% before the opening bell as investors assessed the earnings performance, improved guidance and cash generation.
