SoundHound AI Expands Partnership with Ultraviolette to Bring Voice AI Across Global Electric Motorcycle Lineup

By Fiona Craig | November 04, 2026, 10:39 AM

SoundHound AI, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOUN) announced a major expansion of its commercial partnership with electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive, extending the deployment of its voice-powered artificial intelligence technology across the company’s global electric vehicle lineup.

The agreement will see SoundHound power Ultraviolette’s VIOLETTE A.I. voice co-pilot, enabling riders to control motorcycle functions, access vehicle information and receive diagnostic updates through spoken commands.

The announcement coincides with Ultraviolette’s participation in EICMA 2026, the international motorcycle exhibition taking place in Milan, Italy, from November 3 to 8.

Voice AI Enables Hands-Free Motorcycle Controls

First introduced at CES 2026, VIOLETTE A.I. allows riders to interact with their motorcycles through audio-enabled helmet headsets.

By activating the system with the voice command “Violette,” users can access vehicle functions without operating physical buttons or touchscreens.

The technology supports voice adjustments to riding modes, traction control and anti-lock braking system settings, alongside access to vehicle diagnostics and operating instructions.

Riders can also request information about battery charge levels, estimated driving range, tyre conditions and maintenance requirements.

Additional capabilities include hands-free navigation, media playback and telephone controls.

The platform is designed to reduce the need for riders to divert their attention from the road when accessing motorcycle functions.

SoundHound Targets Production-Scale Deployment

The expanded agreement represents a further commercial deployment of SoundHound’s conversational AI technology within the electric mobility sector.

Keyvan Mohajer, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of SoundHound AI, said the partnership would support broader adoption of the company’s technology.

“Ultraviolette is redefining electric two-wheelers, and expanding our partnership allows us to deploy our agentic voice AI at true production scale,” Mohajer said.

The companies also plan to explore integration with SoundHound’s OASYS agentic AI platform, which is designed to support more advanced automated interactions and workflows.

Ultraviolette is demonstrating the technology at EICMA, including pre-ride system checks, ride statistics, service notifications and voice-controlled access to the motorcycle’s owner’s manual.

Ultraviolette Expands Connected Vehicle Capabilities

Ultraviolette, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer operating in international markets, is incorporating voice technology into its connected vehicle strategy.

Niraj Rajmohan, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette Automotive, said the collaboration aims to simplify how riders interact with their motorcycles.

“We see voice as a natural way to make these interactions simpler and more intuitive,” Rajmohan said.

He added that the technology could allow riders to access vehicle information and adjust settings while maintaining their focus on riding.

Ultraviolette currently exports to 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Outlook for SoundHound AI

The expanded Ultraviolette partnership strengthens SoundHound’s presence in automotive and mobility applications, extending its voice AI technology into the electric two-wheeler market.

The agreement also provides an opportunity for SoundHound to demonstrate its agentic AI capabilities through production vehicle integrations.

The companies did not disclose the financial value of the expanded partnership or specific deployment volumes.

Investors will be monitoring the commercial rollout of VIOLETTE A.I., potential integration with the OASYS platform and further adoption of SoundHound’s technology among automotive manufacturers.
