Raising Full-year Guidance Across All Key Metrics
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2026-- ITT Inc. (NYSE: ITT) today reported financial results for the third quarter ended October 3, 2026. Revenue increased 44% to $1.4 billion versus prior year with SPX FLOW contributing 35 points of growth. Organic revenue increased 8%, led by strength across Connect & Control Technologies (CCT) aerospace and defense connectors, as well as continued momentum in pump projects and valves within Flow Technologies (FT).

Third quarter operating income increased 26% to $227 million, driven by operational performance from the legacy business and contributions from SPX FLOW, partially offset by acquisition-related costs. Adjusted operating income increased 55% year-over-year, reflecting the benefits of SPX FLOW as well as incremental volume, pricing and productivity actions across the portfolio, which more than offset higher material and labor costs. Operating margin decreased 230 basis points to 15.7% compared to the prior year, reflecting acquisition-related intangible amortization and costs. Adjusted operating margin increased 140 basis points to 21.0%, led by robust growth and operational performance throughout the businesses.
EPS decreased 15% to $1.38 due to acquisition-related costs. Adjusted EPS increased 20% to $2.26, reflecting strong segment operating income driven by commercial momentum and strong execution, along with contributions from SPX FLOW, which more than offset higher interest expense, weighted-average share count and effective tax rate associated with the acquisition.
Net cash from operating activities for the third quarter increased $139 million, or 80% year-over-year, to $313 million. Free cash flow for the quarter increased 87%, primarily reflecting strong quarterly operating performance and the acquisition of SPX FLOW, partially offset by higher interest.

Management Commentary
“ITTers around the world delivered yet another strong quarter as they executed relentlessly across the business. Our teams continue to win in the market, whilst our acquisitions are enhancing the strength of our portfolio and compounding ITT's long-term value creation. At SPX FLOW, we are executing with discipline and speed, delivering high-single-digit growth and capturing cost synergies ahead of schedule. We are unlocking revenue synergies as we leverage our expanded capabilities, global reach and customer relationships. And with a healthy backlog and orders momentum, we are well-positioned to continue driving growth and margin expansion next year whilst building an even stronger ITT,” said ITT’s Chief Executive Officer and President Luca Savi.

Adjusted operating income increased $84 million, or 96%, reflecting the contribution of SPX FLOW, higher volume and the benefits of pricing actions. Operating income increased $5 million, primarily due to higher net productivity and volume, leading to operating margin increasing 100 bps to 20.6%, while adjusted operating margin improved by 70 bps to 21.0%.
Connect & Control Technologies revenue increased $55 million year-over-year, reflecting pricing actions, wins in defense, industrial connectors and aerospace components. Operating income increased $18 million, primarily due to benefits from pricing, volume and net productivity, partially offset by higher strategic investments. Operating margin improved 270 bps to 20.5%, while adjusted operating margin increased 100 bps to 22.0%.
Leadership Appointment
ITT today announced an update to its leadership structure, reinforcing the company’s focus on driving value through differentiation in execution and innovation. Davide Barbon, currently Senior Vice President and President, Motion Technologies, will assume leadership of the Connect & Control Technologies segment, effective immediately.
“Davide is a proven leader and disciplined operator with a strong track record of delivering results,” said Savi. “Since taking over Motion Technologies, he has built a culture of continuous improvement that has enabled the business to continuously and consistently outperform its markets through share gains, operational excellence and productivity. Bringing our highest growth potential business with the highest margin potential under Davide’s purview creates an opportunity to accelerate performance within CCT.”
Under the new leadership structure, Motion Technologies and Connect & Control Technologies will remain distinct reportable segments, and ITT will continue to report their financial results separately.
Quarterly Dividend
The company announced today a quarterly dividend of $0.386 per share on its outstanding common stock. ITT’s Board of Directors approved the cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2026, which will be payable on Thursday, December 31, 2026 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Friday, December 4, 2026.
2026 Guidance
Based on strong commercial and operational performance year-to-date, the company now expects organic revenue growth of 7% to 9% and total revenue growth of 41% to 43%. Operating margin is now expected to finish the year between 13.3% and 14.1%, with adjusted operating margin of 20.2% to 21.0%, an increase of 80 to 160 bps versus prior year. EPS is expected to be $4.65 to $4.73, with adjusted EPS of $8.54 to $8.62, representing growth of 19% to 20% for the full year. The company expects free cash flow to be between $600 million and $620 million, translating to a free cash flow margin of ~11% for the full year.
It is not possible, without unreasonable efforts, to estimate the impacts of foreign currency fluctuations, acquisitions and certain other special items that may occur in 2026 as these items are inherently uncertain and difficult to predict. As a result, we are unable to quantify certain amounts that would be included in a reconciliation of organic revenue growth, adjusted operating margin and the adjusted effective tax rate to the most directly comparable GAAP financial measures without unreasonable efforts and accordingly we have not provided reconciliations for these forward-looking non-GAAP financial measures.
Investor Conference Call Details
ITT’s management will host a conference call for investors on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The briefing can be accessed live via a webcast which is available on the company’s website: https://investors.itt.com. A replay of the webcast will be available beginning two hours after the presentation concludes. Reconciliations of non-GAAP financial performance metrics to their most comparable U.S. GAAP financial performance metrics are defined and presented below and should not be considered a substitute for, nor superior to, the financial data prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

Key Performance Indicators and Non-GAAP Measures
ITT reviews a variety of key performance indicators including revenue, operating income and margin, earnings per share, order growth, and backlog. In addition, we consider certain measures to be useful to management and investors when evaluating our operating performance for the periods presented. These measures provide a tool for evaluating our ongoing operations and management of assets from period to period. This information can assist investors in assessing our financial performance and measures our ability to generate capital for deployment among competing strategic alternatives and initiatives, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, dividends, and share repurchases. Some of these metrics, however, are not measures of financial performance under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP) and should not be considered a substitute for measures determined in accordance with GAAP. We consider the following non-GAAP measures, which may not be comparable to similarly titled measures reported by other companies, to be key performance indicators for purposes of our reconciliation tables.
Organic Revenue and Organic Orders are defined, respectively, as revenue and orders, excluding the impacts of foreign currency fluctuations, acquisitions, and divestitures that may or may not qualify as discontinued operations. Current year activity from acquisitions is excluded for twelve months following the closing date of acquisition. The period-over-period change resulting from foreign currency fluctuations is estimated using a fixed exchange rate for both the current and prior periods. Prior year revenue and orders are adjusted to exclude activity during the comparable period for twelve months post-closing date for divestitures that do not qualify as discontinued operations. We believe that reporting organic revenue and organic orders provide useful information to investors by helping identify underlying trends in our business and facilitating comparisons of our revenue performance with prior and future periods and to our peers.
Adjusted Operating Income is defined as operating income adjusted to exclude special items that include, but are not limited to, restructuring, intangible amortization, certain asset impairment charges, certain acquisition and divestiture-related impacts, and unusual or infrequent operating items. Special items represent charges or credits that impact current results, which management views as unrelated to the Company's ongoing operations and performance. Adjusted Operating Margin is defined as adjusted operating income divided by revenue.
