Samsara Partners WasteVision AI to Enhance Waste Management Capabilities

On May 19, Samsara Inc. (NYSE:IOT) announced a partnership with WasteVision AI to enhance waste management capabilities. Samsara will integrate its Connect Operations Platform with WasteVision’s Operational AI technology to improve waste management efficiency and security.

This will provide Samsara’s customers with innovative tools, including automated overflow detection, contamination detection, and photo and video-based service verification. These tools will be available through Samara’s App Marketplace.

Samsara has more than 14 trillion data points annually. AI is being used in various areas, including real-time route adjustments, automated driver safety, and predictive maintenance.

During the Q4 FY2025, Samsara posted $1.46 billion in ARR, indicating 32% year-over-year growth. Samsara's management mentioned, "Our growth is driven by our partnership with some of the world's largest and most complex operations organizations." The company's focus on improving its operations through advanced waste management systems will enhance its growth, scalability, and profitability. The company also highlighted that they are landing large enterprise customers that could potentially become $10 million-plus ARR customers over time.
