Gerdau SA engages in the production and commercialization of steel products. It operates through the following segments: Brazil Operation, North America Operation, South Africa Operation, and Special Steels Operation. The company was founded by Joao Gerdau and Hugo Gerdau on January 16, 1901 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
