Rambus Inc. The Group's principal activities are to design, develop, license and market chip interface technologies. These technologies enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of computers, consumer electronics, communications systems and networking products. The solutions of the Group include multiple chip-to-chip interface products, which can be grouped into two major categories: memory interfaces and logic interfaces. The memory interface products provide an interface between memory chips and logic chips. The logic interface products provide an interface between two logic chips. The Group sells its technology to customers in the Far East, North America and Europe. The major licensees of the Group include AMD, Elpida, IBM, Intel, Texas Instruments, Infineon, Intel, Matsushita, NEC Electronic Corporation, Sony and Renesas. The System level products that utilize patented inventions and solutions include personal computers, servers, printers, video projectors etc.
