Nicholas Gold Income ETF is an actively managed fund that seeks to provide capital appreciation with a secondary objective of current income. The fund employs a three-pronged strategy: it maintains an Equity Portfolio of gold mining and production companies, a Commodities Portfolio providing exposure to the spot price of gold through other exchange-traded products, and an Options Overlay. This overlay generates income by writing (selling) options contracts on both the equity holdings and the underlying gold ETFs, aiming to provide regular distributions while maintaining exposure to the gold market's upside potential.
