The fund invests in public equity and fixed income markets of the United States. For its equity portion, the fund invests in stocks of companies operating across consumer staples, utilities, information technology, consumer food, health care, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and life sciences, communication services and telecommunication services sectors. It invests in value stocks of large-cap companies, within the market capitalization range of the Russell 1000 Index. For its fixed income portion, it invests directly and through other funds in corporate bonds and government bonds. The fund invests in securities with varying maturities. It invests in dividend paying securities of companies. The fund employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up and top-down security picking approach to create its portfolio.
