First Trust Bloomberg R&D Leaders ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of an index called the Bloomberg R&D Leaders Select Index. Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the securities that comprise the index. According to the index provider, the index is designed to track the performance of companies that seek to return implicit value to shareholders by reinvesting in their own growth. The fund is non-diversified.
