The Innovator Equity Defined Protection ETF seeks to track the return of SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), to a cap, with a 100% downside buffer over a 1-year outcome period, before fees and expenses. The Fund uses FLEX Options to employ a "defined outcome strategy." Defined outcome strategies seek to produce pre-determined investment outcomes based upon the performance of an underlying security or index. The pre-determined outcomes sought by the Fund, which include the buffer and cap discussed below ("Outcomes"), are based upon the performance of the Underlying ETF over an approximately one-year period from September 1 through August 31 of the following year (the "Outcome Period"). The initial Outcome Period is from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025.
