Newspaper and digital media company The New York Times (NYSE:NYT) will be reporting results this Wednesday before market hours. Here’s what you need to know.

The New York Times beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 2.3% last quarter, reporting revenues of $685.9 million, up 9.7% year on year. It was a very strong quarter for the company, with a solid beat of analysts’ adjusted operating income estimates and an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates. It reported 11.88 million subscribers, up 9.6% year on year.

This quarter, analysts are expecting The New York Times’s revenue to grow 8.2% year on year to $692.6 million, improving from the 7% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.53 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. The New York Times has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates three times over the last two years.
