Oklo Stock Rises As Trump Backs Nuclear Energy

Oklo Inc (NYSE:OKLO) shares are trading higher alongside other uranium and nuclear‑linked names after President Donald Trump signaled strong support for nuclear power at the Davos meeting, saying the U.S. is "very much into the world of nuclear energy."

Trump’s statement is positioning nuclear power as a clean and reliable alternative to what he called costly and inconsistent wind and solar options. His remarks follow recent executive actions aimed at speeding up reactor licensing and accelerating deployment of small modular reactors.

"The USA is the economic engine on the planet," Trump stated. "You all follow us down, and you follow us up."

Meta’s Investment Signals Nuclear Energy’s Future

Additionally, Bank of America analyst Dimple Gosai upgraded from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target to $127 from $111, pointing to the company's newly signed binding agreement with Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) as a major milestone for advanced nuclear development.

The upgrade comes after Oklo announced a firm, multi‑phase deal with Meta to build an approximately 1.2 GW advanced nuclear campus in Pike County, Ohio. As part of the agreement, Meta will provide $25 million in Phase 1 prepayments to support early development work ahead of final power purchase agreements.

BofA called the Meta partnership "tangible proof of execution," saying it shows advanced nuclear is moving from theory to real‑world deployment.

BofA's higher $127 price target reflects expanding peer multiples, which is now 25x/19x on 2032/2033 estimates versus 16.5x/15.6x previously, as well as added revenue tied to the Meta deal. The firm's 2036 revenue estimate rises to $5.9 billion from $5.5 billion, with projected deployed capacity increasing to 6.7 GW from 6.3 GW.

OKLO Price Action: Oklo shares were flat at 0.69% at $90.53 at the time of publication on Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro.
