Vinson & Elkins Advises EnCap Portfolio Companies in $1.455 Billion Combined Asset Sales to Matador

Vinson & Elkins advised EnCap portfolio company Paloma Permian on its agreement to sell all of its equity interests to Matador Resources Co. (NYSE: MTDR) for approximately $1.275 billion and included Southeast New Mexico oil and gas assets, expecting to close in the

The firm also advised EnCap portfolio company Ridge Runner Resources II on its agreement to sell certain undeveloped Woodford acreage in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico to Matador Resources for approximately $180 million, they said.

The Vinson & Elkins team was led by Partner Bryan Loocke and Counsel Michael Zarcaro, with support from lawyers across the corporate, tax, regulatory, environmental, and other specialist practices.
