Brazilian fintech powerhouse Inter & Co (NASDAQ:INTR) recently released its Q2 2026 results, demonstrating continued revenue and net income expansion across its growing base of 45 million clients. The strong figures offer further proof of the commercial strength behind the digital bank’s core technology.
For the second quarter, Inter & Co came remarkably close to hitting its targeted “Rule of 50″—a performance metric combining year-over-year (YoY) top-line growth with return on equity (ROE). The company posted a 16.3% ROE alongside a 32% YoY revenue surge. Key drivers behind these numbers included:
The quarter’s operational strength builds directly on a profitable Q1 2026, which generated US$75.6 million in net income. In fact, Inter & Co has increased profitability since migrating its listing to the Nasdaq in Q2 2022. Back then, the platform had just crossed 20 million users and recorded net income of R$16 million Brazilian Reals (roughly C$4.37 million at current exchange rates).
Leadership remains under the long-standing guidance of Chairman Rubens Menin Teixeira de Souza and Global CEO João Vitor Menin de Souza. Their combined expertise across banking and capital markets provides a stable foundation for long-term operational growth.
Despite Inter & Co’s consistent financial performance, the market has yet to fully reward investors. INTR shares are down by 23% over the trailing 12 months and have gained just 68% since their 2022 Nasdaq debut, trailing the broader Nasdaq index’s 127% return over the same timeframe. For a company consistently expanding its fundamental earnings power, this lagging share price presents an intriguing dislocation.
