United and Spotify Partner to Offer Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks on 130,000+ Seatback Screens

United Airlines Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:UAL) and Spotify Technology S.A. (NYSE:SPOT) have teamed up for a groundbreaking partnership that enhances in-flight entertainment. Passengers can now access over 450 hours of free content on more than 130,000 seatback screens, many featuring 4K resolution and Bluetooth audio support.

This marks Spotify Technology S.A. (NYSE:SPOT)'s first time offering audiobooks and video podcasts onboard, with over 65 titles available, including favorites like Good Hang with Amy Poehler, The Dave Chang Show, and The Comment Section with Drew Afualo.

Starting next year, travelers will also be able to log into their Spotify Technology S.A. (NYSE:SPOT) accounts on the seatback screens using their personal devices, allowing them to continue listening to their favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks seamlessly.

Richard Nunn, CEO of MileagePlus, made the following comment:
