Draganfly Inc (NASDAQ:DPRO) shares rose 3.7% in premarket trading on Monday after the drone technology company announced a $10 million strategic investment from Unusual Machines Inc (AMEX:UMAC) and a US investment fund.
Unusual Machines and the investment fund will each contribute $5 million.
Draganfly said the proceeds will be used to support the development of strategic capabilities and provide general working capital as the company seeks to meet product demand.
Investment Priced at $5.35 Per Share
The investment is priced at $5.35 per share, based on Draganfly’s closing share price on Friday, September 25, 2026.
The investors will purchase a combined 1,869,159 common shares.
The transaction is expected to close on or around September 29, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
The offering is being conducted as a registered direct offering under an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Jett Capital Advisors and Northland Capital Markets are acting as joint-lead placement agents.
Draganfly Cites US and Canadian Activity
Draganfly said the investment comes as it expands its activities in the US defense sector and pursues opportunities in international markets.
The company also cited recent procurement milestones involving the Canadian Armed Forces and the expansion of its US defense operations.

Draganfly develops drone technologies and solutions for markets including public safety, civil and military applications, agriculture, industrial inspection, security, mapping and surveying.
