Exxon Mobil (XOM) Gains As Market Dips: What You Should Know

In the latest close session, Exxon Mobil (XOM) was up +1.72% at $113.95. This change outpaced the S&P 500's 0.55% loss on the day. Meanwhile, the Dow lost 0.19%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, lost 0.95%.

Shares of the oil and natural gas company witnessed a gain of 0.25% over the previous month, trailing the performance of the Oils-Energy sector with its gain of 1.1%, and the S&P 500's gain of 3.64%.
