Textron, Inc. is a multi-industry company, which leverages a global network of aircraft, defense, industrial, and finance businesses to customers. It operates through the following segments: Textron Aviation, Bell, Textron Systems, Industrial, Textron eAviation, and Finance. The Textron Aviation segment manufactures, sells, and services Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft. The Industrial segment designs and manufactures a variety of products within the Kautex and specialized vehicles product lines. The Textron eAviation segment covers pipistrel along with other research and development initiatives related to sustainable aviation solutions. The company was founded by Royal Little in 1923 and is headquartered in Providence, RI.
